Institute of American Indian Arts |
The Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA) is an accredited, tribal college with associate’s, bachelors, and master’s degree programs. As an arts school, they are focused on arts and creative degree programs. The college’s mission is “To empower creativity and leadership in Native arts and cultures through higher education, lifelong learning, and outreach.” They are located in Santa Fe, NM. Santa Fe is a well-known location for the arts and has a lot of venues and events that enrich the curriculum and student experience while at IAIA. |

Members of a federally-recognized tribe who are interested in pursuing their bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and are interested in incorporating indigenous pedagogy into their classrooms as future elementary school teachers are encouraged to apply. This is a transferable option from NPC’s Early Childhood or Elementary Education programs. |
