The advantage of these entry level claims and customer service positions is that is where you will learn the most about the company, its products, and how things work, which will help determine which roles you may want to advance into. Summit Healthcare	Patient Access positions (i.e. Medical Office Administration) - There are a lot of opportunities in what is called “Patient Access,” and refer to positions that involve duties such as referrals, authorizations for care, eligibility, scheduling, financial counseling, which are functions that happen before or during the time of healthcare services. Many employers use distance technology such as Skype and Zoom to schedule virtual information or interviews sessions with potential job candidates. Although NPC Career Services is not currently able to host these events, we will publish your virtual event on our calendar and inform our students about the opportunity.
