Thirty-five welding graduates were recognized for their achievements on May 9, 2024, in a ceremony held at Taylor’s Rodeo Park. Northern Arizona Vocational Institute of Technology (NAVIT) Superintendent Matt Weber delivered the ceremony’s keynote address. Weber highlighted the significance of the student’s achievements and the valuable partnership between Northland Pioneer College (NPC) and NAVIT. The welding program at NPC is offered to area high school students, as well as adult students at NPC’s Holbrook, Show Low and St. Johns locations. This year’s class is well-prepped for a variety of careers in the industry, having earned certifications, degrees, and OSHA certifications.
