This scholarship is awarded by Northland Pioneer College.
Criteria
- Must be enrolled in the NPC Nursing Program.
- Must reside in Navajo or Apache county.
- Must maintain a 3.0 cumulative G.P.A.
- Must demonstrate financial need (FAFSA must be on file with the college). Preference will be given to students who are not Pell eligible.
Submission Requirements
- Submit a Letter of Interest (a short biography telling a bit about yourself, your educational and career goals and why you think you would be a deserving candidate for this nursing scholarship). Must include full name, NPC ID#, current mailing address and the name of the scholarship.
- Provide receipts indicating the cost of required/recommended textbooks for the semester. Only required/recommended books for courses being taken in the semester of application will be considered.
- Must also provide a list of the textbooks and cost for each.
- Submit documents electronically to the Dean at the e-mail listed below. No hard copies will be accepted.
Awarded
At the start of each semester for that semester. The amount varies, depending on the number of qualified applications.

This scholarship is awarded only to NPC students enrolled in the Nursing Program to help with the cost of textbooks.

DEADLINE: Applications must be received by 5 pm the last day of the first month of the semester (fall and spring). NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Funds will be awarded the following month.
