$2000 toward tuition, books and fees is awarded for the academic year; $1000 in the fall semester with the spring semester award based on continued satisfactory academic progress.
Who is eligible to apply?
Degree-seeking NPC student who is a resident of the Cedar Hills area: Old Woodruff Road and Snowflake/Taylor city limits to the west, and Highway 180A. Concho/Concho Valley limits to the east; Aztec Road to the south, and Woodruff/Hay Hollow Roads to the north.
- Degree-seeking at NPC. Student must be seeking a degree, per degree plan on file.
- Enrolled for 6 or more credits during the semesters of award.
- Cumulative Grade-Point Average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale.
- Not in default of a student loan and not in overpayment status.
- Need is strongly considered for this scholarship

Attach all application documents as ONE, SINGLE PDF FILE, as directed on the online application form
- Essay – 500 words or fewer – Describing:
- What are your career goals;
- What are your educational goals;
- What resources you have to fund your education making you qualified to receive this scholarship; and
- Why the scholarship is needed, and how it will be used.
The key to the scholarship essay is that it is a personal narrative, reflecting your experiences and goals. DO NOT USE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TOOLS, SUCH AS CHAT GPT, to write your essay. It is important that your personal voice come through!
