This scholarship is awarded by NPC Friends & Family. This scholarship is designed for CCP students who show capability and determination, and have unmet financial need.
- Enrolled in CCP classes at NPC. Degree plan on file indicates the applicant’s ultimate goal is an associate degree or certificate of proficiency from NPC.
- Demonstrate financial need. This is a NEED-based scholarship.
- Enrolled for 6 or more credits in NPC’s CCP program during the semester of award.
- Cumulative Grade-Point Average of 3.0 or better at the time of award.
- Not in overpayment status at NPC.
- Applicants must have the recommendation of at least one representative from NPC faculty or high school faculty, as evidenced by a letter of support.
These letters must be sent directly from the authors to betsy.wilson@npc.edu.
How Do You Apply?
Attach all application documents as directed on the online application form:

- Essay – 500 words or fewer – Describing:
- What are your career goals;
- What are your educational goals;
- What resources you have to fund your education making you qualified to receive this scholarship; and
- Why the scholarship is needed, and how it will be used.
The key to the scholarship essay is that it is a personal narrative, reflecting your experiences and goals. DO NOT USE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TOOLS, SUCH AS CHAT GPT, to write your essay. It is important that your personal voice come through!

- Your unofficial transcript from https://mynpc.npc.edu/ics indicating your degree intent. If applicant does not yet have a transcript at NPC, submit verification of degree intent from your NPC Academic Advisor.
- Letter of reference as described above. Letters must be emailed directly from the writers to betsy.wilson@npc.edu.
Scholarship recipients may re-apply for this award in subsequent academic years (not to exceed two consecutive semesters).
