Logo Variations

Variations of the main college logo can be used in specific circumstances to meet various marketing needs. Follow the guidelines listed below for each variant.

Department/Unit Logo

The department/unit logo utilizes the primary logo with the unit/department name replacing the tagline and is set in Goudy Oldstyle Std. The name is set in bold, and in black. Designing of such logos should be carried out by the NPC Marketing Department. The vertical logo (left) is the preferred design and the horizontal variant should only be used when necessary.

NPC Secondary Mark

This secondary mark is used on NPC products/apparel and social media accounts where the primary logo will not fit due to size constraints. The secondary mark should be used only when “Northland Pioneer College” is spelled out and displayed nearby. Use of the secondary mark is restricted to these variants and adjusting the logo in any way is prohibited. Black and white variations should be used only when necessary.

Official College Seal

The college seal is used by NPC units only in very specific situations: formal and official documents such as diplomas, legal and official records, transcripts, programs for formal academic ceremonies, and legal agreements binding the college. No modifications should be made to the seal or likeness of the seal should be created. Never substitute the seal for the primary Northland Pioneer College logo. Use is limited to official administrative offices:

  • District Governing Board applications.

Tertiary Marks For Promotional Use

The following is a collection of frequently used tertiary marks. These marks are primarily for use on apparel and products and should never be used on general marketing material. Employees who wish to order college branded apparel or products must consult with the NPC Marketing Office before placing an order so that they can provide you with the appropriate artwork. Variations to these marks may be permissible based on use, seek permission from the NPC Marketing Department.
