OVERVIEW: The best and most effective way to reach the greatest number of people in our very large service area is through social media. In the past the NPC Marketing Office contracted with a local vendor to post to NPC social media sites which was minimally effective because the vendor was external to the college and could not obtain the personalized content needed to attract attention. An effort was made to supplement these vendor posts with an NPC employee but it is not their first job priority. It became obvious that the communication goal simply could not be accomplished without hiring someone internally who's sole focus was NPC's social media. This person would be able to go out to our campus/center locations and gather video and photos of student and events.
