NPC VA Checksheet Requirements

Please initial the boxes below each section as confirmation that you have reviewed, received, or completed the following:

NPC Cost of Attendance 

I have reviewed the programs approved by financial aid and the different types of financial aid I may use while attending NPC.
Financial Aid Status of NPC Degree Programs

I understand the costs that are covered by VA Education Benefits.
NPC Tuition & Class Fees

 I understand that NPC does not offer student loans.
I have reviewed the information regarding graduation and job placement rates at NPC.
I understand NPC's procedure regarding the acceptance of transfer credits including military credits. 
I understand that my program may have external requirements such as a state or agency license or certification.
I understand I have access to the GI Bill Comparison Tool.
I understand that NPC has or will provide a Student Data Sheet that includes my total cost and that the posted cost won't change during that academic year.
I have reviewed the posted requirements for graduation and estimated graduation timeline.
I understand that NPC will obtain approval of the accrediting agencies for each course or program.
12. NPC has provided and maintains the policies listed below:
  • Inform an enrolled covered individual of the availability of federal financial aid, not administered by VA that is offered by the institution.
  • Alert the individual of the potential eligibility for other federal financial aid before packaging or arranging student loans or alternative financing.
  • Prohibit automatic renewal of a covered individual in a course and/or programs.
  • Ensure each covered individual approves of the enrollment in a course.
  • Allow enrolled members of the Armed Forces, including reserve components and National Guard to be readmitted if such members are temporarily unavailable or must suspend enrollment by reason of serving in the Armed Forces.
  • Accommodate short absences for such services in the Armed Forces.

I hereby give my permission to Northland Pioneer College to obtain any verification deemed necessary to process my Admission Application. I further certify that I will arrange for the forwarding of official transcripts that are requested in the instructions. I will include with this application any other documents as required in the application instructions. I understand that all submitted documents become the property of Northland Pioneer College and will not be forwarded to another institution nor returned to me.
