About the Film:
Ben Judkins takes viewers on a global journey using a surfboard built from 10,000 littered cigarette butts to explore ocean conservation, activism, and the power of art to inspire change. The documentary is solution-driven, highlighting how anyone—regardless of background—can take meaningful action to protect the environment.
Ben will also bring along a few “Ciggy Boards”—functional surfboards made with discarded cigarette butts—for an up-close look at the impact of pollution and creative solutions to address it.
Heads-up: The film contains some strong language.
This is an incredible opportunity to engage with an award-winning filmmaker, explore the intersection of art, activism, and science, and walk away feeling inspired.
We hope to see you there!
