Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center is once again our premier sponsor for the tournament,” notes Betsyann Wilson, executive director of NPC Friends and Family. “And this year we have a new partnership with Dixon Golf, an Arizona-based company that created the world's first high-performance eco-friendly family of golf balls, who will offer optional opportunities for golfers to win fantastic prizes.”

As if that was not enough, there will be an optional LEGEND Shootout, where four lucky contestants will have a chance to win $10,000 for themselves and a matching $10,000 for NPC Friends & Family for a hole-in-one on the designated LEGENDS hole. The cost for a chance to be one of the contestants is $10.

There will be also be prizes for Straightest Drive, Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive. The top three teams will receive certificates for rounds of golf at some of the state's top courses. “We'll have raffle items, mulligans and a 50/50 raffle to contribute to the day's fun,” adds Wilson.

Dixon Golf was founded in 2008 in an effort to find a solution to the 300 million golf balls ending up in landfills each year in the United States alone. They introduced an industry-approved, sustainable, bio-degradable golf ball that performs to pro standards.

On the designated Dixon Challenge hole, each golfer will receive a free Dixon Earth golf ball to try against their regular golf ball, plus several gift certificates, including one for a free one-year subscription to Golf Digest. For an optional $10, players can participate in the Dixon Challenge and will receive an extra shot on that hole. If either ball lands on the green, the player receives a sleeve of Dixon Earth Balls, valued at $10.

On another hole, players will have a chance to try a drive with an Aurelius Emperor Driver. For an optional $20 they will receive $150 in product certificates, plus have a chance to win a $349 Aurelius driver or $500 Zovatti watch.
