Introductory Energy Healing classes

Are you stressed, anxious, or physically drained? Maybe it is time for an energy healing tune-up.

Energy healing is a holistic practice that activates the body’s subtle energy systems to remove blocks, stimulating the body’s inherent ability to heal itself.

You can learn more about the ancient and modern modalities of energy healing in one-day, noncredit workshops at Northland Pioneer College this fall led by LeAnn Bond Larson, a certified Reiki Master and Emotion Code and Body Code Practitioner.

During the 5-hour class, Larson will explain what is involved in energy healing, and review complementary energy healing modalities, including Emotion Code, Reiki, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Thought Field Therapy (TFT), Emotional Release and Meditation/Visualization. “This will allow students to embark on their own research on healing modalities of interest to them,” notes Larson. Students will also learn and use basic energy healing modalities, such as Applied Kinesiology or Muscle Testing, working together to practice and experience what they learn during the class.

The Introduction to Energy Healing class is being offered at NPC’s Holbrook campus on Saturday, September 8 (reference HPE 099x-35); at the Snowflake campus on Saturday, October 14 (reference HPE 099x-40); and at the Show Low campus on Saturday, November 11 (reference HPE 099x-55).  Each class meets from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and costs $40.

Although various ancient cultures used different modalities to stimulate the body’s natural ability to heal, they all saw internal energy as a powerful force of good. It's important to note that energy healing is a complementary modality that shouldn't exclude any traditional medicine you may be taking.

“My personal introduction to energy healing happened at least 15 years ago with the frustration with my own health and life issues that allopathic medicine did not seem to have the answers for,” notes Larson. “I found a great deal of relief as I started to do my own energy healing. The process was easy to learn and the results were fast, observable and measurable.”

She started sharing these techniques with clients, family and friends about four years ago. “I have been practicing and researching Energy Healing modalities and have made it my life’s mission and vocation to introduce and enable others to do the same.” Larson owns and operates Step Into The Light, Healing Arts on Main St. in Snowflake.

Larson believes any time is a good time to visit an energy healer. An energy healing session can help you relax and feel more balanced. And if you're already feeling good, it's always possible to feel a little better!

Sign up for any of the Introduction to Energy Healing workshops at least three days before the class starts to ensure it is not canceled due to insufficient enrollment. Register at any NPC location during regular business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, or 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Fridays.
