Gypsy Choreography

SNOWFLAKE — Ladies, release your free spirit while learning gypsy dances during a one-day Northland Pioneer College noncredit workshop, Thursday, September 21, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at Katherine’s Dance Studio, 60 S. Main in Snowflake. There is a $15 charge for the workshop.

Learn the basic steps of a fun group dance using gypsy choreography. “You’ll have fun swishing your skirts and improving your balance to the music,” notes instructor Katherine Venancio.

Enroll in the Fun Women Gypsy Workshop (reference HPE 099x-41) at least three days before the class starts to ensure it is not canceled due to insufficient enrollment. Register at any NPC location during regular business hours, Monday through Friday.

Venancio has been teaching dance classes for NPC since 1997. “I enjoy the different people I have had the pleasure to meet in my classes.” She is the owner of Katherine’s Dance Studio, 60 S. Main in Snowflake, 205-3084. “So, if you would rather have a more one-on-one session, stop by,” she adds.
