Scholarships to 10 Nursing Students

Ten first- and second-year students in the Northland Pioneer College Associate Degree in Nursing program received $1,000 each to assist them with tuition, books and other expenses related to their educational goals for the 2017-2018 academic year.This scholarship program, now in its third year, was made possible through the generous backing of Summit Healthcare and Frontier Communications.

Board selects firm, team members

HOLBROOK — A consulting firm and community and college employee members for a Presidential Search Team were approved by the Navajo County Community College District Governing Board during the regular monthly meeting on June 20 in Holbrook.R.H. Perry, based out of North Carolina, exhibited the higher education presidential search experience desired to guide the Search Team to find a replacement for Dr. Jeanne Swarthout, Northland Pioneer College’s seventh president, who has announced plans to retire in June 2018. Digital Marketing Extravaganza

Top scholars named for Spring '17

Academic excellence by Northland Pioneer College students is now earning additional recognition on the President’s or Dean’s lists.There were 147 students named to the President's List and 145 to the Dean's List. There were 5,869 students enrolled during the spring 2017 semester at the 9 NPC locations and online.
