NPC's CAFR earns Excellence Award

CHICAGO — The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has awarded a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to the Navajo County Community College District for its second comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR) for the fiscal year ending June 2015.

Top scholars named for Spring '16

Academic excellence by Northland Pioneer College students is now earning additional recognition on the President’s or Dean’s lists.There were 150 students named to the President's List and 152 to the Dean's List. There were 4,230 students enrolled during the spring 2016 semester at the 9 NPC locations and online.

Performing Arts Scholarship Auditions

SNOWFLAKE — Auditions for performing arts scholarships to study theatre or music performance or technical theatre this fall at Northland Pioneer College will be Tuesday, June 21, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., in the Performing Arts Center on the Snowflake campus, 1611 S. Main St.

Green Valley Philanthropist Makes Generous Gift

Marilyn Shenn, a retired businesswoman from Green Valley, began her career in education, teaching English. She retains a true passion for helping children learn, and recently she demonstrated this passion with a gift of $3,000 to NPC Friends and Family to help fund scholarships for Kid’s College.
